Graduate Credits

PYI is pleased to join Saybrook University in a Partnership Agreement to honor core PYI trainings as transfer graduate credits.

Upon successful completion and certificate submission of eligible PYI Yoga Therapy course(s), Saybrook will award:

Up to 6 transfer credits towards:*

• M.S. Mind-Body Medicine

• M.S. Integrative and Functional Nutrition

• M.S. Applied Psychophysiology

Up to 9 transfer credits towards:*

• Ph.D. Mind-Body Medicine

• Ph.D. Integrative and Functional Nutrition

• Ph.D. Applied Psychophysiology

• Ph.D. Integrative Social Work

Eligible PYI Courses

All Courses in PYI's IAYT-accredited Yoga Therapy Program may be included and are listed on the Yoga Therapy Trainings Page.  Sorry, standalone CE courses and workshops may not be used as transfer credits. Please reach out to Admissions ‘at’ premayogainstitute.com for more details.

Please note that application and acceptance into Saybrook must occur to transfer credits.  Students may present PYI Certificates of Completion at the time of application.

Transferring Credits to PYI

• Interested in getting a head start on your Yoga Therapy Certification by transferring in hours?

• Mental Health Providers can transfer in up to 225 hours in our Mental Health Provider Track with Dr. Chris Walling.

• All other candidates may be eligible for transfer of up to 225 hours. Please contact us at the email Admissions ‘at’ premayogainstitute.com to see if your preexisting education and/or licenses apply.
  

* Unless the student is coming from another academic institution with which Saybrook holds an articulation agreement that extends the number of transfer units.
